Back To School 2018 Bullet Journal Spreads

IMG_1276.jpg

Greetings, bookish friends! Welcome to part 2 of my back to school 2018 posts. Read my about my Back to School 2018 Supply Haul. Today I will be showing you my bullet journal spreads, specifically for back to school 2018.

Getting back into the swing of balancing tests, homework, and many hours spent procrastinating by counting the dots on the ceiling, *I’m still a good student, OK?* can be hard. But I suppose that aesthetic spreads and high quality markers make it…less hard? Hopefully? I don’t know if it works, but I’m going to try! Enjoy.

I now present to you my standard school bujo spread! Usually my spreads also include weekends, but I figured that it was better for me to have more space for the weekday spreads.

My theme for August is balloons and clouds. Click here to read my August Plan With Me post.

On the right side, of each day I have my to-do list. On the left side is homework that I need to complete. As much as I dislike homework, I think it’s really important not to forget it! We’ve all been there…

Here is a zoomed in picture of my upcoming tests + events section. The right side is to write down upcoming tests, and the left is for events. I also made a color coded key (in the top left) of how hard the test will be so I know how much to study for it. The pink is the easiest, then blue, and so on.

Overall, I think that this section of the spread will be very useful. It feels good to know that I’ll be prepared to whatever another year of middle school throws at me.

  1. Every month I am awed by everyone’s beautiful bullet journals! I wish I had the patience for journaling, but it would probably just cause me massive amounts of stress attempting to make it look perfect. Good luck with the upcoming school year! I’m half happy to be back, half dreading all these classes, haha.

    1. City of Novels,
Thanks! I’m going to need all the luck I can get for another year! It’s exciting to be back, but at the same time, awful. *Man, where did my summer go?*
I recommend that you try journaling. I have only been journaling for 3 mere months and have seen so much improvment. Don’t focus on if it’s perfect or not, focus on what’s right for you. I know that I’m not perfect. But I love myself anyway because every day I’m working hard to improve my flaws, and in the process making my envoirnment more positive. Bullet journaling does take quite a lot of time, but I think it’s a fun craft! *even though I hate crafts*
Sorry this was kinda long lol but thanks for the comment!

      1. That’s just a lovely outlook on journaling 🙂 Meanwhile I just instantly thought, “my calligraphy is terrible,” hahaha. I do think journaling really helps with being more organized and positive, and I actually ~do~ like crafts, but I’ll just have to see if I have enough time this year as I’m drowning under all my schoolwork 😅Thanks for the words of encouragement!
