Hello blogosphere! I’ve been really active lately on the blog, but I haven’t had the chance to showcase my April bullet journal spreads. My bullet journal theme for this month is water droplets and umbrellas.
I was inspired to choose this because it has been particularly rainy this past week, which is unusual for where I live. Typically, rainy days are my favorite; what’s better than captivating storm clouds and curling up to read a book? However, as I’ve been in quarantine for more than three weeks now, rainy weather is more dreary than dreamy.
Supplies
- Bullet Journal: Paperage Dotted Journal
- Calligraphy Pen: Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Markers: Crayola Supertips
- Highlighters: Zebra Midliners
- Fineliners: Sakura Pigma Microns
- Washi tape: Typo
Cover Page
Here is my cover page! I doodled a couple of umbrellas and water droplets surrounding the cover page to tie in the theme. I used Crayola Markers to color them in. I wrote the quote “the storm will pass” to remind myself that even when times are tough or life is dull, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. ❤︎
Monthly Calendar
The next spread is my monthly calendar, which is a quick glimpse into the month of April. I haven’t filled it out yet, but that’s because I prefer to keep my spreads plain when posting them on social media, to protect my privacy and keep a minimalist look.
Trackers
I honestly really love how this spread turned out! I think that the wash tape tied in really well to the theme. The tracker on the left is a writing goals sheet for writing contest NaNoWriMo. My final word count goal is 18,000 words. Although I am much further along than displayed in this image, I decided to keep it blank! The next tracker is my exercise/running tracker. With quarantine, my goal is to work out at least six days a week.
Weekly Spread
Lastly, I have my daily spread for the week of April 6th-12th. I kept a minimalistic style with bubble letters for the date. Honestly, I’m really happy with how this spread turned out! 😀

Good luck with nanowrimo! Hope your month ends successfully on that front. This is such a beautiful spread, and I love your hand lettering. It’s really stunning! I also keep a bullet journal, and this month my theme was entered around big, pink flowers. Oddly, April has been very sunny so far! Hope you have a great month x

I hope NaNoWriMo is successful as well. I’m glad that April has been sunny for you! ☺️ I live in So-Cal, so lots of rain is pretty unusual. Thank you so much for your comment, I hope you have a wonderful month.

Thank you, Katie! I’m trying to enjoy the sun, though a few rainy days would be appreciated. The sound of it coming down again the window is beautiful! Enjoy whatever weather you’re getting, and have a lovely month too x
