Plan With Me: October 2018 (Pumpkin theme)

IMG_1552.jpg

Greetings bookish friends! October is just around the corner, so are my bullet journal spreads for the month of October. I’m really happy with how these turned out, and I’m thinking that this may be my new favorite theme! Autumn is my favorite season, and I love pumpkin pie! *Who doesn’t?*

I will also be posting this on my newly begun bookstagram/artstagram account. The username is @katiethatbookishgirl. Please help support this blog by giving it a follow!

Supplies:

  • Minimalism Art A5 Dotted Journal (Any dotted journal works)
  • Crayola Supertips (I have the 100 count, but most people use the 50 count)
  • A pen
  • A pencil
  • An eraser

If you want me to be honest, I am excited to change into a new bullet journal in 2019 because I’m finding that the pages in the Minimalism Art A5 Dotted Journal have a lot of ghosting. It might have just been that I colored in the pumpkins with my supertips too quick, or that I may need thicker pages for my next bullet journal.

Sorry if you see any marker bleeding through the pages!

First is my cover page/quote. Overall, I love how this spread turned out and think the quote fits nicely with the theme.

Next in my monthly log. I am also really happy with the end result and think it ties in with the theme. I have a little sidebar box on the left which is my social media growth tracker. It was inspired by Amanda Rach Lee (my favorite youtuber). If you aren’t already following her, go check her out she is amazing!

Here is my habit tracker and money tracker. (Also inspired by Amanda Rach Lee, by the way). Although filling out trackers can sometimes be boring, I think that I will put these to use. I also doodled a cute little pumpkin patch at the bottom of the page, which I absolutely love!

And lastly is my weekly spread. I decided to do a dutch door style spread and think it looks perfect! This was my first time trying this style of weekly spreads, and so far I’m really liking it. It’s very functional for me because I can look at my weekly events while having my to-do/homework list out. I will definitely be doing this spread more in the future.
